Gabe Perreault Video Breakdown

February 20, 2023

By Recrutes Staff

Recrutes’ scout Rocco Zappia scouted USNTDP winger Gabe Perreault versus Sweden in the Four Nations U18 tournament in early February.

“Perreault did a fantastic job in this game of using his speed in open ice to consistently create lanes and possession opportunities for his team,” said Zappia.

“He used his vision and playmaking ability to spring teammates in space and allowed them to have a step on the defender. His hockey sense was on full display, making several quick decisions to his team’s benefit. He was willing to battle in the dirty areas of the ice, and came out with the puck more often than not on 50/50 plays.

“There’s very little to dislike about his performance in this game, and he looked every bit the part of a player who’s worthy of consideration in the top 20 of Round 1.”
