Thanks for the pregame post Brian. Have you heard through thr grapevine if Alzner has any nagging injuries affecting his play? He has that 600 plus game iron man streak on the go, wondering if there’s ever been a situation, injury or merit based, where the pride or magnitude of the streak prevented him from sitting out.

Not trying to be a smartass but as a fan there is a culture that also needs fixing with the habs. The way geoff molson runs the habs franchise as a $$ buissness first,sports franchise second. Money wise yes molson is great,the habs are tops in the nhl in revenue,they can put monkeys from the zoo in habs jerseys ducktape skates to thier lil feet and the bell center would still maxout at 21,243 every game,12$ beers keep flowing,concessions,parking,merch gangbusters. Thing is geoff seems to view the habs with his chief financial officer hat on only. That 9 mill cap space never got spent,it went to payoff thierriens last yr,pay hemsky,
Striet and the other washouts mr bergevin got that never panned out. Now geoff with his cfo hat on has bergevin at 4 more years,and julien 4 more years to go,thats millions more,so what does geoff do,count those cfo beans and keep bergy,keep julien. Molson needs to take himself out of the equasion and hire a president to do the real dutys that need doing. The bean counter buissness allmighty $ culture first must stop.take the loss fire the man who lead us all down the toilet after six years hire pierre mcguire or whomever as a prez let that man hire a new gm and rebuild .give us our beloved winning habs back,restore the hope,were fedup of al this endless excuses mr.molson.
