Agree %100 Brian. Moving Galchenyuk for a player that’s not a certain improvement for the team, would be a grave mistake. The flashes of brilliance are there when you watch Galchenyuk play. Yes there are down shifts/games but that happens with all players. Galchenyuk is a Montreal media scapegoat right now and to run this guy out of town for a player that’s simply big and fast but really doesn’t do much like Kreider would/should make the entire fanbase furious. I get cranky just thinking about it. Kreider isn’t any kind of need for this team.
Also hearing a lot about it possibly being JT Miller for Galchenyuk. Still don’t like it, but it would make a bit more sense as Miller can play C.
I say give Galchenyuk at least two more years. The Seguin situation is a very strong comparison. They let that guy get away too early and for not nearly enough. Let’s not have a replay of that situation. If Galchenyuk goes it needs to be in blockbuster deal, not just a tinker deal that pisses off the fanbase.

Galchenyuk for Kreider is a move that P Gautier would make. In between periods.
