McLean’s Pub Call Of The Wilde: Arizona Revisited

February 15, 2018

By Brian Wilde

The Montreal Canadiens low point of the season was against the Coyotes at home. It was on that night in November that it became clear it wasn’t going to be much of a season for Montreal. The club had a five game winning streak after that, but for the most part it has been win-one-lose-one for the Habs. They’ve had trouble scoring some nights and trouble defending other nights. The only category the Habs have excelled this year is on their power play. To the Wilde Horses to see if there were some moments to get excited about for next year.

Logged in cause I’m pissed about Pacioretty, Price & Alzner but you beat me to it Brian. Garbage game by all three. Alzner playing is only helping the tank however. So he is useful. I guess.

If Bergevin truly said Andrew Shaw is unavailable then he should be fired sooner than later. Pacioretty’s value is dropping & Bergevin wants the moon. My goodness what an absolute joke of mismanagement. What a shameful franchise the Habs have become.

Keep andrew shaw, seriously bergevin has brain damage. The best part of the game was the guy holding up the sign behind julien that read..molson wakeup, fire bergevin, get tavares.
Theres only 1 step needed by geoff molson to help now, hire a habs president, julien brisebos, pierre mchuire, bring serge savard back he said he,d do it. That new prez fires that enept clown bergevin and the rebuild is on.
As for tonights joke game, hey know one out there gives a flyin puck, there in who gives a rats ass tankmode.im sure part of 31s huge signing bonus is to throw games the rest of this ssn.sure as hell seems that way.
Patiently, ever so frustratingly waiting for the explosion as the habs rosters blown to smitthereens. Keep mete, petry, gallagher, drouin, carr, lehkonen, lindgren and the rest can go the way of sears canada.

Good read Brian. I think the coach should also be a goat for keeping Carr out of a line up that is dying for goals. I also find it strange that Alzner has not sat out yet. Even MT would sit Emelin if he had a bad stretch. Jerabeck has not played in a few games. What is the worst that will happen they will lose?

Totally agree on the Shaw rumour but it could be that Molson has tied Bergevin`s hands. If only minor deals are made at the deadline, I would assume Bergevin will be fired.

Habs need 1st pairing puck moving D man preferably left shot & 1st line centre. Trade who ever they must to obtain those assets. If it can’t be done at the trade line then at or before the draft. Habs will not be successful with the group they have . I am also fine with changes in any or all of the key management positions. I want to have hope again
