Remember last year when everyone was glowing about Benn and wondering why/how DAL was willing to let him go for a 7th/8th d-man in return? I bet no one is wondering anymore.

Last year, it was thought the Benn for Pateryn deal was in Montreal’s favour. Turns out Jim Nill wasn’t so dumb after all. Pateryn would look pretty good right now in a Habs uni rather than a Stars one. The last 2 years are ones Bergevin would like to forget, except for the Subban trade. I still think he likes that one. Which says all you need to know.

Yes the Emelin game was the worst I’ve seen but tonight Benn was close. Benn-Alzner-Schlemko were all terrible and can all go for picks or for nothing for all I care. Let’s see some youth. Enough of this. Yuck.

Its so obvious whats going on,they know the ssns lost so they have decided thee best option going til ssns end is to finish in the bottom five and take the best center available in the draft.

What was the story with Julien’s post game quote saying something along the lines of “I’m not here to babysit, some guys weren’t ready.” I didn’t catch the full context but at the very least it sounded like a compete level jab aka started the All-Star break early, unless it was geared more towards off-ice shenanigans.
