I’ve wondered about Lehkonen being given a chance at center for some time. In one of my previous comments, I made that very suggestion, but no one picked up on it. He’s incredibly smart, and versatile. Does anyone know whether he’s ever played center in his career? Thanks for the excellent “Calls”, Brian. I’m amazed how quickly you write them.

Thank you and yes I believe he has played some center. That would be an interesting experiment

Petry..when webers out petry hits the switch and becomes great.when weber is in,petry says phew im not the go to guy anymore so i can coast and go to the back of the bus.clearly petry HAS the talent, why cant he keep that Talent meter on 10 at all times? Why like most other players theyre to comfortable, hey im an Nhl er no fn way the coach is pressboxing me. Thats why the young kids on the 4 th line are awesome, they are NOT comfortable, they dont take being an nhl er for granted.THEY ARE HUNGRY !! Froese, carr, deslauriers are hungry to prove they are PROs and deserve the big bux. When the last time julien sat a player for constant poor performance. If so patch would be in the pressbox alot. Personally i was watching hoping the flames would score to tie it up and win in o.t. Im looking at the bottom 5 hoping we make that,to rebuild.wing and a long shot prayering it maybe into the playoffs and losing in the first round and getting yet another mid pack draft choice isnt good enough.

Play Petry with Weber. Let him figure out the Left D position. Stud apprenticeship program with Weber.

I know it counts but the Sens game was an exhibition – so the Habs are 2-0 on the 6 game road trip…no one called that last week!

Brian, I did see one bad pinch from Mete but he reacted so quick and skated so fast that he was on the player in an instant and took the puck away. His vision and passing skills especially on the PP is tremendous.
