Great game by almost the entire team tonight, a couple of points though. Byron Froese is not an NHL player at all! And I do not care what they get for him but Pacioretty has to go at the trade deadline! MB chose him over PK and he was dead wrong, I knew it then, I know it even more now! 0 compete level, 0 leadership, 0 care! When PK was traded I called it the 2nd worst trade in Habs history, every game that goes by just proves me right.

That line of sherback, chucky, drouin is awesome.finally something exciting this ssn to watch for habs fans.
Great game.i think some are playing to showcase themselves to get the bleep outta here.is what it is.

Hey Brian. Whom do you think the habs are interested in from Minnesota?

I think the only reason there’s any talk of re-signing Plekanec is just Bergevin sending a message to other teams that he’s not giving him away just because he’s UFA.
Note: People love to bash GMs for giving out bad contracts (Plekanec) but don’t give enough credit for steals like Price ($6.5×6), Pacioretty ($4.5×6), Byron ($1.167×3), Gallagher ($3.75×6)!

Hi Brian!!! It boggles my mind that they would even think of trading Galchenyuk. It doesn’t make sense to me at all. He’s amazing!!!! He’s come a long way from last season’a injury and he’s shown so much growth in maturity as well.

I’ve been one of the few to back up MB, but when I heard they may resign 14, I was not impressed at all. We don’t know what will be from now until trade deadline, but he better go to an interested team. And 67 must be traded by the draft, if he can’t get it done by the 26th.

I’m so annoyed with this organization…. fans need to stop going to games and buying Molson beer. Maybe that will do the trick.

the hashtag has since been tainted by Monday’s…tweet, but the answer is the Habs…but the caveat is that my interest is at an all time low in the team. last night was one of the few entertaining games of the season, more often than not I tune not to tune in. Sports radio (not just Montreal) still talk about the trade any time either player is mentioned, and that always leads to a segment of mocking the team….ive hit a level of pk and Habs fatigue. I remember leaving the bell centre in the playoffs and people still chanting his name well into the streets. he wasn’t just a star here…but it’s done, he still does great charity work and I wish him well, but this constant debate is driving me away more.

I agree with your comments re: Plekanec. While I wish only good health and a full recovery for Danault, head injuries are unpredictable in their scope and length of recovery.

I’ll give it to you, Brian. During camp, you said that with Drouin, the power play would do a lot of damage. Well dammit, a lot of thing is going wrong with this team, but the PP rocks. You know your shit, wich is a good thing when you pay like I do to get your analysis. Good work, man!

Thank you, they just had to move Galchenyuk over to the half wall and put Pacioretty in the middle. They both have strong shots. Galchenyuk’s works where it works. Pacioretty’s works where it works.

I am thinking that Julien’s work with Chucky is paying off. After that amazing shift in OT , there was a shot of Julien chatting with Chucky for a bit and pumping him up. If Julien is finally seeing results with him, I am hopeful that management decides he is part of the solution going forward, and they keep him. Also Scherbak was amazing last night….Personally I am looking for Patchs( young centre and prospect/draft pick), Pleky( Draft pick) and Shaw( Draft pick) to be moved for younger players and draft picks, and let the kids play to prepare for next year.
