There was a lot of hype surrounding the Oshawa Generals early in the season in the scouting community. Boasting four prospects touted as potential draft picks, including one that may go top 15, it was with much anticipation that I showed up at TD Place Arnea in Ottawa to see last Friday’s match between the Generals and Ottawa 67’s.
Unfortunately, the prize prospect, Serron Noel, missed the game with “concussion-like symptoms”, so Alan McShane became the main focus on a Generals’ team that also has a couple of draft-eligible defence prospects in William Ennis and Nico Gross.
