Habs 365 Podcast – Episode 08

October 12, 2017

By _1ben2_

The Canadiens have not had a great start to the season, posting a 1-3-0 record in their first 4 games. Grant McCagg and Brian Wilde discuss what needs to change, and give their live take on Mark Streit being placed on waivers as it happens. Later, Brian talks about Drouin’s performance at center. Finally, Brian is joined by Eric Engels and Kyle Bukauskas of Sportsnet and they talk all things Habs. . . with a little touch of Seinfeld.

Music this week:

Wild Night – Van Morrison

The Only Place To Be – Gord Downie

Gun – Uncle Tupelo

Rise of The Ghostface Killah (Instrumental) – Adrian Younge

Station to Station – David Bowie

Holy Touch – Foxy Shazam

Is the podcast on iTunes? Will it ever be? That would be really great!

Excellente! Toujours amusant! Merci encore. C’était fantastique!

    Great podcast.
Loved the point of Chucky in Patch’s spot on the PP. I was just telling my dad the exact same thing last night.
And for Benn better on the right than the left, it was extremely obvious last year. I don’t understand the reasoning of putting him on the left. There is a big difference in performance.

Thanks for the excellent podcast! I think putting Galchenyuk on the 4th line is a bad idea but he needs to step up his game. I wish that they put DLR at center instead of Mitchell on the 4th line too. But we’ll see on friday if Julien will change his lineup.

Not sure what happened but during the Wilde/McCagg segment, the sound quality went down. Not sure why but I’m sure you guys will fix that in the next podcast. Thanks again and see ya soon!

There was about a minute of lower-quality sound in the podcast…yes. Thanks for your response.

Yeah that segment is gonna naturally be slightly lower because it’s on the phone. However usually not that much. The app was acting up a little bit. Thanks for listening!!!!!

Listened to the spot with Kyle and Eric, although 27 wasn’t good against The Hawks, 67 wasn’t any better and I expect more from the captain in home opener night
