The Montreal Canadiens played well twice this week but had only one point to show for it against St. Louis and Calgary. It was the Edmonton Oilers in town Saturday. Here’s Brian Wilde.

I have no problem supporting my team when it’s rebuilding / retooling and out of the playoffs. I can get behind my team for a playoff run even if I feel there are some holes. Both of these scenarios are exciting and fun. However, I really don’t enjoy being yanked around like a yo-yo in an on-again / off-again relationship. These HABS need to decide who they are, starting with Molson.

    Thanks Recrutes.ca for analysis!

      Fully agree CJ.

I get the feeling that most Habs fans aren’t that patient and why the organization’s focus is getting to the playoffs. Once they make the playoffs, their plan A is Price stealing the cup single-handled.

But still not enough scoring and no sniper….been that way for too many years.
