Habs-Panthers: 1-6 And Breathe

September 30, 2017

By Brian Wilde

It’s not about the wins and the losses. It’s about who is shining and who is earning a spot on the starting roster October 5th in Buffalo. Here’s Brian Wilde with his comprehensive post game on camera.

I like Holland, feel bad for Mitchell he has been a good soldier……but time to move on.

      My thoughts exactly.

The strange part is Mitchell was the habs best face off man last year and wasn’t bad in the playoffs either. He had more goals than Chucky or Max but still got benched by Julien. I wonder if there is something with his game that Julien doesn’t like? I have a feeling Julien likes a bit more sandpaper on his 4th line and Holland is a little bigger with a similar skill set.

Would also explain the interest in Neil as well from the habs

Thank you once again Brian for your candid interview.
I truly believe Charlie should be backup goalie, but having said this, I am only a HABS fan.
We face Ottawa ugh! Our nemesis.
It will be indeed interesting to see the lines.
Wishing you always the best in your chosen career!
    Cheers!

Always enjoy your opinions, Brian. I wouldnt mind him taking torey mitchells spot, someone may be able to use him when an injury comes up, trade assets

Brian, I like the proposal that you made for Galchenyuk. Giving him time on the PP unit might be just enough to give him that spark, which certainly won’t happen playing on a 4th line. Too much offensive talent to waste.

As for Lindgren, do you think that having the farm team so close will allow for him to be called up more frequently to get the 2 points as needed? Could he play in Laval for his 50 or so games, and be brought up to the Habs for the bigger games when Price needs the night off, and Montoya just won’t do?

I worry that Bergevin will pick up another dead weight extra defenceman. Peter Holland is another boring player. Sign Chris Neil!

Went into my local sports store yesterday to get another Canadiens flag for my car. I was wearing my jersey & earrings, in anticipation of last night’s game.
    They were out !
But the guy behind the counter asked me to wait. He came from the back and handed me a black t-shirt with the Canadiens logo on it. He called it ‘a gift, for a fan.’
Actually it’s a Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Champions shirt that says 1993. Twenty four years old but brand new.
I’m thrilled with this awesome souvenir and I won’t be sleeping in it. LOL

Thanks for the free view Brian!

Do you think DLR will beat Mitchell for the last center spot?

If so are we going to see a Galchenyuk-DLR-Hemsky fourth line?
