Slaf Trick a Big Treat

Juraj Slafkovsky scored his first NHL hat trick last night in Montreal’s 9-3 pasting of the Philadelphia Flyers. Don’t expect it to be the last.
Slafkovsky had six shots, three hits, a block and three goals in just 14:58 of ice time. Christian Dvorak’s return to the lineup meant there was more balance in the lines, and he added two goals in his season debut.
after starting the season with two goals in his first 31 games, Slaf has potted 17 goals in his last 47. He’s well on his way to becoming a 30-goal scorer at the NHL level, and that’s great news for both the club and its fan base.
I had to laugh after the third goal when Slaf went to the bench and had his back to the camera.
I saw the big 20 and immediately thought ” Peter Mahovlich.
