Habs/Rangers Recap – Some Positives, Some Negatives

Brian Wilde puts it all into perspective – Yes, the Habs lost, but the defensive play was better. Now if they could just fix that offence…
One even strength goal in the first three games, none on the PP. But that PP has looked very dangerous, and at least a couple of the forward lines are consistently creating scoring chances. They can turn this around. The schedule for the first week of the season is not kind to a troop still finding its way around a new system and a serious re-engineering.
Kevin Kennedysays
A few different faces, same old story. Fast, furious offensive pressure to start, 0 goals.
A defensive gaffe, with Drouin waiting for the puck for a second NYR goal. 2-0 seems as insurmountable as 6-1 .
McDonald’s will save on fries at least.
